PMUG Member Forum
Members may read and post questions in PMUG's member forum in the members' area. This works like the old Bulletin Board System, and similar to how PMUG's Yahoo! Groups page worked.

As a bonus, you can be alerted to new topics and replies to specific message by subscribing to either general topic or message-specific RSS feeds.
NOTE: The forum's RSS Feeds require RSS readers which support username/password authentication, such as NetNewsWire and Apple Mail (the version which comes with Mac OS X 10.5+.) You will be asked to enter your members' area username and password, and you should enable password saving for that specific feed.
NOTE: Members who wish to use the autosubscribe feature of their RSS Reader should use this page:

Nikon Capture NX2 Program Offer
The Nikon Capture NX program and serial code were given to members a number of months ago during a general meeting. Our October 2008 speaker, Michael Rubin, demonstrated Capture NX2 and is making the upgrade available to members for $109.95.
Members who did not get a code can use 29127-23284-12375-37937-38386 so the upgrade may be purchased.
Members, do you want free software or deep discounts on hardware? Consider a review.
Simply download these general review guidelines, find a software or hardware item you would like to review and send an email to Rob Golding, Dialog Editor at: editor {at} pmug-nj.org identifying the item and vendors website.
We will work hard on your behalf to get a review copy for you and once the review is done hopefully the vendor will donate a another copy for a raffle!
It is a win - win for you and PMUG. Reviews should be about 1 - 2 pages in length and submitted withint 60 days of receiving the item or software.

New Photo Gallery
Have a look at our new photo gallery section.
We need your help!
We are posting photos from meetings and events. If you have taken pictures please send them to us!
Photos should be no larger than 640 x 480 pixels. If you attach the original to the message in Apple's Mail program, and reduce it to "medium" (at the bottom right of the message), that is the size. Or you can set these dimensions directly at export from iPhoto.
Please e-mail your photos to stcommittee {at} hotmail.com.
PMUG's Help List, formally a Yahoo! Groups site, is now a mailing list. The e-mail Help List provides members with a way to solve problems. The list is delivered to two ways.
Immediate Mode proves real-time messages and answers. Once subscribed, you may ask your question by sending an e-mail to help {at} pmug-nj.org. You should see your question come back in ten minutes or less. Others on the list will see it too, and hopefully will be able to help solve your problem. You may be able to help solve someone else's problem.
Digest Mode is for those who want to follow the list, but don't want a lot of e-mail messages. The program collects the day's messages, and sends them to you just after midnight in one message per day. You may still send a message to help {at} pmug-nj.org but you won't see your question, or anyone's answer, until the following day.
To join the PMUG Help List, send a message to listmgr {at} pmug-nj.org with your name, e-mail address, and whether you want immediate or digest mode.
