TechTool Pro, the premier hard drive diagnostic tool for Macintosh, was updated to version 16 this year.

Christian Pickman of Micromat will discuss troubleshooting with TechTool Pro, how troubleshooting has changed in recent years with the switch from Intel to Apple Silicon processor Macs, and talk about how recent changes to macOS have improved user security.

The meeting will be held online through Zoom — members should check their e-mail for instructions on how to connect and attend. We hope you can join us.

About the presenter
Born in the heart of Silicon Valley, Christian Pickman started his career in computers back in the early 1980’s learning BASIC programming on an Apple IIe. While in high school, he got his first Macintosh and it has been his computer of choice ever since. After graduating from college he was a computer consultant, and in 1996 started his tenure with Micromat Incorporated — the makers of TechTool Pro. He is currently their Product Manager, and is involved in product development.
