The meeting begins at 7 p.m., although we ask that you arrive about 15 minutes before the meeting begins.
Dave Hamilton returns this month to talk about the PLEX service and software which let you store your personal video, audio, and photos locally, then stream them to your devices wherever they may be. Plex also streams commercial video and movies on demand, live TV, and has additional paid service features.
Dave comments, “There’s one topic I’ve always avoided presenting in person despite regular requests, but have recently found it works VERY well over Zoom: PLEX. With everyone looking at their screens, we can really have a truly interactive conversation about PLEX while truly showing things in a way that everyone can actually see what’s going on.”
Join us this month to learn about this media steaming service!
The meeting will be held online through Zoom — members should check their e-mail for instructions on how to connect and attend. Our friends from the Main Line Mac Users Group will also be with us. We hope you can join us.
A limited number of non-member audience “seats” at our Zoom meeting are also available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you wish to attend, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org, and include your full name to receive an invitation with connection information.
