New Presentation Date
Please note: Due to a scheduling conflict for our speaker on October 12th, the presentation will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. — so that we may start on time, please arrive at least 5 minutes before the meeting begins.
macOS 12 Monterey ships this fall, and it’s full of interesting new features that can improve your productivity and privacy. It also has a few potentially unwelcome surprises, including some controversial changes to Safari.
Mac author Joe Kissell takes us through the major changes in Monterey, from the flashy to the obscure. He covers the upgrade process, how to find your way around, and how to get started with features such as Focus, iCloud+, and Shortcuts.
Be sure to join Joe at PMUG’s October meeting to learn more about Apple’s new operating system, and have your questions answered.
The meeting will be held online through Zoom — members should check their e-mail for instructions on how to connect and attend. Our friends from the Main Line Mac Users Group will also be with us. We hope you can join us.
A limited number of non-member audience “seats” at our Zoom meeting are also available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you wish to attend, please e-mail pres@pmug-nj.org, and include your full name to receive an invitation with connection information.
After the main presentation, we will hold a session to answer your Mac and iOS questions led by PMUG’s President, Aric Pedersen.
