The meeting begins at 7 p.m. — so that we may start on time, please arrive at least 5 minutes before the meeting begins.
These days we all have a ton of digital media on our Macs and other digital devices.
However, it’s inevitable that physical media gives way to electronic-only media (which itself changes over time,) a once-popular file format becomes unused as a result of a better quality and more efficient replacement, and a company nudges (or pushes) its customers away from its older media and service in favor of something newer.
How can we keep using our ebooks, audiobooks, movies, and PDFs, even if the format is no longer readable?
We hope you will join us when PMUG President Aric Pedersen will show how to future-proof our personal digital media using the Mac, and some useful free (and commercial) software to do it.
