The meeting begins at 7 p.m., although we ask that you arrive about 15 minutes before the meeting begins.
There is always something new to learn about in the Apple world, be it new hardware or software, or even how to use the more hidden features. Dan Wassink has not only helped people with their Apple problems through his videos from Dan’s Tutorials, he has also helped them with their daily Apple issues in his past job as an Apple Genius.
Bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise, Dan will be our guest to start out the new year, and help answer your questions through an “Ask Me Anything” presentation. If you have had issues about Apple hardware, software, Apps, Macs, or iPhones, now is the time to have them solved! PMUG members can e-mail their questions to pres@pmug-nj.org or post a message to PMUG’s Help List, and Dan will answer them during his presentation. Dan may also cover how he puts his videos together.
Answering your long-standing questions is great, but there’s one more thing — Dan has also made some of his tutorial videos available to PMUG Members for free. Have a look!
The meeting will be held online through Zoom — members should check their e-mail for instructions on how to connect and attend. Our friends from the Main Line Mac Users Group will also be with us. We hope you can join us.
A limited number of non-member audience “seats” at our Zoom meeting are also available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you wish to attend, please e-mail pres@pmug-nj.org, and include your full name to receive an invitation with connection information.
About the Presenter
Dan Wassink is the owner, trainer, and most everything else for Dan’s Tutorials. He has worked on the Mac for over 30 years, starting in the magazine publishing industry, then as an Apple Genius helping people daily with their Apple devices. He then made and offered tutorials through the App Store under his company’s former name of Noteboom Productions, Ltd. — leading him to quit Apple. Dan hasn’t looked back since, and through his tutorials he has helped hundreds of thousands of people learn more about their Apple products. Today, he also helps out a local private school that is all Apple-based. You can follow Dan on social media through his YouTube and Twitter pages.
