The landscape of social media is ever-changing and challenging to navigate. Where are we headed in 2018? Which platforms are right for you?

Librarians Erica Bess and Janet Hauge will discuss some of the trends in social media today, and highlight new features of popular networks.

They will also share what’s new at the library, and how its staff is using social media to connect with the community.

 

About the presenters
Erica Bess is Assistant Director at Princeton Public Library, where she oversees public services and collection management. Prior to joining PPL in 2011, Erica was Head of Adult Programming and the Louise Parker Berry Fellow at Darien Library in Darien, CT. She received an MLIS from Rutgers University in 2007.

Janet Hauge is Head of Adult Services at Princeton Public Library. Some of the areas she oversees includes technology programming, information and reference services, adult literacy and citizenship programming. With a focus on customer service, Janet wants everyone’s experience with the library to be outstanding.
