The Truth About Passwords, Passkeys, and Authentication, with Khürt Williams

This month our own Khürt Williams will explain why traditional passwords aren’t as safe as they once were for Mac users, and how you can start moving toward newer, simpler, and more secure options to feel more confident about your online security.

Khürt will give an educational, story-driven talk with practical demonstrations to help protect your digital life. He will show how to set up and use iCloud passkeys so you won’t have to remember complicated passwords, but still protect your accounts.

Khürt will also talk about multi-factor authentication (MFA), demonstrate how it works (like a code sent to your phone) and why it makes a big difference in keeping your information safe.

We hope you’ll join us!
