Chris Boranski of Princeton Tech Meetup – Essential Mac Productivity Enhancements
Chris will demo and describe a number of Mac Utilities and Extensions that will improve your productivity and make your Mac faster and more enjoyable to use. Chris has been developing iOS apps for the last three years, and his major apps include a chat app for kids that features voice recognition and speech synthesis named “Chatty Addie” and voice enabled thermostat control for Wi-Fi thermostats named “Voice RT”. He is currently working for a startup named Kiswe Mobile on the “Sports Trekker” app which features multi-camera, highly interactive streaming of live and archived events to mobile devices.
As an app developer, Chris spends most of his waking hours working on his Mac and optimizing his productivity is essential to completing projects successfully. He will demo a number of apps that he has discovered are essential to his enjoyment and efficiency including: Alfred, Moom, Bartender, Fantastical, Soundsource, iStat Menus, f.lux, SnappyApp and more.
